The Benefits of Bidets for Men
Excellent Personal Hygiene and HIgh Level of Confidence.
The
bidet is a bathroom installation that is sometimes considered to be “just
for women.” This misconception is more common in the United States where
the bidet isn’t a common fixture. Though the idea of using a bidet can be
strange at first, there’s nothing about this fixture that makes it more
effective for women than for men. In fact, there are many great benefits that
men can enjoy from a bidet. If you’re not familiar with how to use bidet
fixtures, this quick primer will tell you everything you need to know and
explain why a bidet is great for men.
Attachable bidets can benefit men from:
- Skin irritation
- Constipation
- Hemorrhoids
They can also be particularly benefit if you are :
- Heavier and larger
- Have limited mobility
- Have limited use of hands
A bidet is essentially a tool for personal hygiene. It can be tough to get
completely clean after a bowel movement. Toilet paper is just dry tissue and
this isn’t always very effective. To better understand the issue, consider
washing up after a good workout with nothing more than dry paper towels. You
wouldn’t feel very fresh afterwards, or feel confident about going out on the
town. Toilet paper is much the same way when it comes to cleaning up after a
bowel movement. The only difference is that people are accustomed to this method
of cleaning up and don’t think about it.
A bidet uses a refreshing stream of water to clean up the genital area after
a bowel movement instead of dry paper. With a bidet, you’re getting rid of a lot
more bacteria than you’ll be able to reach with toilet paper. A bidet provides a
thorough cleanse that will leave you feeling confident. Bidets have several
different settings. The basic setting that men will want to use is the posterior
wash. This applies about 15 seconds of a gentle water spray to the anus to clean
up after a bowel movement. You can use the wash more than once if desired.
Some bidet toilet seats also have a drying function. This works like a hand
dryer and applies warm air to help dry off your skin. If your bidet doesn’t have
this feature, you should dry off gently with a bit of toilet paper after using
the bidet. When you’re drying, simply pat the area in small dabbing motions.
Don’t rub or wipe. Remember, the bidet has already gotten everything clean. A
little bit of gentle patting to get rid of excess moisture is all you need and
you’re good to go, with excellent personal hygiene and a high level of
confidence.
